Lynda started her personal Pilates practice in 2016 after a series of surgeries and tough recoveries; Pilates provided the rehabilitation to help her get moving more freely and she was converted! Lynda has always had a passion for healthy living and women’s health, being an active swimmer, dancer and Pilates enthusiast. Lynda traded in her corporate heels for joggers and has brought her energy, drive and passion to her practice as a Stott Pilates Instructor. She teaches clinical pilates at Victoria Physiotherapy Group but wanted to expand her instructing to studio Equilibre. Charlotte has since become our super instructor working mornings at studio Equilibre and practicing full time as a physiotherapist. Outside of the studio she dances, enjoy sports, and works for the Perth Football Club. She loves the outdoors and spends much of her time at the beach, hiking, and of course; a sucker for a good sunset. Charlotte believes Pilates is something everyone can do, no matter your level of fitness, strength, flexibility or mobility and is beneficial for all. Her own journey through Pilates has shaped the way she teaches, with a strong focus on helping clients feel confident, supported, and connected to their movement. Pilates has become a constant in her life, especially as someone living with endometriosis and adenomyosis. It’s the one form of exercise Gemma can always rely on, no matter how her body is feeling. This personal experience has deepened her belief that Pilates is truly for everyone. With the right modifications and an understanding of the body, it can be adapted to suit all abilities and support long-term strength and wellbeing. Gemma is passionate about sharing her love of Pilates through teaching, helping others build strong, resilient bodies that will support them well into later life.
